Starting from January 1st, 2020 Alabama joined 31 other states and implemented the NLC, which allows for RNs and LPN/VNs, whose primary state of residence is in an NLC state, to hold one multistate license, with the authority to practice in both their home state and other NLC states. Now, you can apply to convert your single state Alabama license to a multistate license. You can find the application through this link. There are some requirements for the multistate license, which includes a federal and state fingerprint-based criminal background check. For more information you can visit this page.

When you visit the Alabama CNA license lookup page, choose “Registered Nursing, Board Of” from the drop-down menu under “Boards and Bureaus.” From there, you can choose the license type in another drop-down menu or search by license number or name. The RN Alabama license lookup will give you the name and license number of the nurse you enter. If there are disciplinary documents available for the license, you will see these as well. The nursing license lookup Alabama also shows the status of the license.
You can also visit LicenseLookup.org and at the top of the website, you can find a search form, where you can type either the name of the nurse you are looking for, or the license number if you know. If you are looking for a company, you type the name of the company.
